Tackle football registration for the 2024 season is now open. These fee will include the provision of FULL EQUIPMENT and will include the mandatory insurance and membership fee’s of $43. If the athlete has already paid for these fees for any spring football program in 2024 then these fees are not payable, they will only need to pay the additional $15 fee for Football Canada’s Fall Membership.
EARLY BIRD PRICING: If registered prior to June 1, $25 will be deducted from the fees.

When registering for any of the 2024 Football Programs, an annual membership and insurance fee must be paid. These are as follows:
- BC Provincial Football Association ($13.00) – membership
- Coach Development Fee ($5.00) – membership
- Football Canada ($15.00) – membership
- Insurance ($10.00)
An equipment deposit will be taken via a credit card pre-authorization or by cheque (which will be returned upon return of all provided equipment).
IMPORTANT NEW THIS YEAR: each family will be required to volunteer throughout the season. A cheque deposit will be taken which will be returned if the volunteer hours requirement have been met for the family. More information to come regarding this…

Practices
- Starting Jul 16th every Tuesday and Thursday from 6-8pm at the Greater Vernon Athletic Park (GVAP) located at the Vernon Okanagan College Campus.
- During the week of Aug 20th practices will be Monday and Thursday from 6-8pm at the GVAP.
- During the week of Aug 27th there will be 4 practices on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6-8pm at the GVAP.
- Starting September practices will go back to Tuesday and Thursday from 6-8pm and Saturday Mornings all at the GVAP.
Games
Games will begin in early September and run into late October or early November and may require travel between Vernon, Kelowna, Salmon Arm and Kamloops.
Refunds & Cancellations
Note that there will be a $20 administration fee for any requested refunds or Cancellations.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Individual athletes can apply for financial support from the Canadian Tire Jump Start program. Applications are typically accepted from January 15 through November 1 each year.
KidSport is a national not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to kids aged 18 and under. Through a confidential application process we provide grants so they can play a season of sport.
A4K’s overarching goal is to be there to assist any B.C. child in their dream of playing amateur sports. We want all kids to have the opportunity to play. To ensure all BC children, regardless of socioeconomic status, can participate in organized sport by providing families with financial assistance.
